This documentary offers a close look at the history and practices of Cuba's most successful and important urban farm, the agricultural cooperative, Organopónico Vivero Alamar.

The cooperative provides an example of how organic agriculture can be practiced in a city and contribute to local development by facilitating access to healthy food at fair prices while creating jobs. Through its unique design and policies, it has made environmental principles and collective labor its sources of greater efficiency.
