Webinar on Cooperative Education Inventory Study

Enhancing the quality, availability and scope of cooperative education materials will be the subject of a webinar on November 10, 2 pm Eastern hosted by The Cooperative Foundation.  The webinar will discuss the findings of a survey of cooperative education providers in the United States conducted by Southern New Hampshire University to assess the current status of cooperative education materials and determine where additional resources are needed.  The survey was funded by The Cooperative Foundation with support from the CHS Foundation.

The Cooperative Education Inventory Study was conducted by Chris Clamp and Eklou Amendah of the Center for Co-operative and Community Economic Development at SNHU.  The study, based on 102 online survey responses and a series of follow up telephone interviews with selected respondents, includes a final report, annotative bibliography of selected cooperative education materials and a list of cooperative educators and developers.  A summary of the findings and a copy of the complete report is available at www.thecooperativefoundation.org.

In addition to discussing the study finding, the webinar will include a discussion of "gaps" in cooperative education resources, and the grant making priorities of The Cooperative Foundation based on the study's findings.
